The summary and discussion of our survey findings
Introduction
Australia is known as a higher educated country where international students are offered support to study as well as work during academic years. However, it is more challenging for them to do part-time jobs while studying at universities such as performance and health. Therefore, we would like to investigate how many overseas students work part-time jobs and what their experiences are.
Our survey was asked by 14 participants whose nationality is Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, Cambodian, Sri Lankan, Pakistanis, Saudi Arabian, and Colombian and 50% of the participants are studying at Swinburne University for more than 20 weeks. As a method for our survey, we were interviewing the respondents face to face with four types of questions which are multiple choices, short answers, checkboxes, and linear scales.

Result and discussion
First of all, with the result of our survey, there are various part-time jobs such as a waiter or retail sales assistant for international students. This result is basically similar to research from Scots English College (2017). This research shows that there are four types of jobs, consisting of odd jobs, working at university, volunteering, and internship, for overseas students to be able to do. Secondly, six out of fourteen respondents answered that their part times jobs were found on the website. It is, in general, the easiest and the most effective way to find a part-time job on a website. Seek is, for example, the most popular source for foreign students to seek employment according to Scots English College (2017).
In relation to wage and salary, our result illustrates that 50% of international students are paid under $17 per hour and a minority of them are working part-time jobs more than 20 hours per week. This result of our study deal with illegality. Besides, thank to research of Hunters, Florence, and McGhee in 2016, this issue can be explained that more than 500 overseas students said that their wage was under $17 per hour. In addition, the authors state that although foreign students could do part-time jobs 40 hours per fortnight legally, the lowest wage leads to working more than the maximum hours weekly which they are allowed to do. Additionally, Nguyen and Nguyen (2017) claim that 22,404 international students have been struggling to be paid under $17 per hour. In respect to an employee to be offered, a small number of the respondents are offered tax file numbers or cash in hand by their employees. An illustration of this point can be seen in an investigation of Nguyen and Nguyen (2017). This investigation indicates that employers do not offer overseas students a tax file number or ask for bank account numbers because they do not have a desire for paying tax to the government. As a result, it is true that all major factors including wage, working hours, tax file number, and bank account cause international students to do illegal part-time jobs.
Finally, in terms of the problems foreign students are facing, a huge number of the competitors chose lack of time in studying or feeling stressed as major problems when working part-time jobs. Therefore, it is clear that part-time jobs contribute to unbalance between work and study. In regard to tackling the problems, a large group of international students chose to work part-time jobs in their free time or on weekends. On the other hand, the result contrasts with an examination conducted by Lonsdale Institute (2017), this examination suggests 11 points to maintain a balance working a part-time job and studying at school. Firstly, you need to take note of your activities school on a calendar in order to limit to work and study at the same time. Moreover, you have to create your schedule and also plan something unpredictably. Besides, you must not procrastinate until the last moment and in addition to the fact that another point to be considered is that reducing stress as well as keep your healthy. What's more, you have to hit the target and then give the prize such as a holiday to yourself. Furthermore, you do not need to attempt to do everything because something is not your responsibility. In addition, if you can find your part-time job related to your major, you could harmonize your work and your attendance at school. Lastly, you might apply for scholarships and grants as the best way to reduce your tuition payment.
Conclusion
To sum up, as a consequence of our survey, there are more part-time jobs opportunities for international students to apply for and they could look for part-time jobs on website or university. However, the part-time job brings more harmful effects to overseas students such as working illegally and the risk of an unbalance between their work and study. In order to address the problems, an international students should offer taxes and ask wages per hour before working as beginner and plan their schedule appropriately.
