Suggestion or recommendation about the survey topic

Although a part-time job assists international students in getting more practical knowledge as well as experiences, they  are facing more problems while doing part-time jobs . Moreover, based on the result of our survey, we found more evidence that part-time jobs  lead to the risk of  doing part-time jobs illegally and  an unbalance between work and study . Therefore, as for solving the problems, this essay will suggest two ways for international students need to do, including checking the minimum wage and taxes, and planning schedule  appropriately.                      First of all, checking the minimum wages and taxes is important things for international students to do legal part-time jobs. M ost international students obviously know that it is illegal to do part-time jobs without taxes but they do not have opportunities to do their jobs as l...

The summary and discussion of our survey findings

Introduction        Australia is known as a higher educated country where international students are offered support to study as well as work during academic years. However, it is more challenging for them to do part-time jobs while studying at universities such as performance and health. Therefore, we would like to investigate how many overseas students work part-time jobs and what their experiences are.            Our survey was asked by 14 participants whose nationality is Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, Cambodian, Sri Lankan, Pakistanis, Saudi Arabian, and Colombian and 50% of the participants are studying at Swinburne University for more than 20 weeks. As a method for our survey, we were interviewing the respondents face to face with four types of questions which are multiple choices, short answers, checkboxes, and linear scales. Result and d...

The survey questions of International Students and Part time job

Rationale of "Part-time jobs and the international students"

Our survey is about part-time jobs and the international students and this investigation will focus on international students at Swinburne University.            Recently, more and more international students have been choosing to study in Australia because Australian government has brought more exciting opportunities to them such as studying at universities in Australia without IELTS and allowing them to do part time jobs 40 hours every 2 weeks.             As for getting part-time jobs in Australia, international students are able to earn more money to pay their tuition fees and get work experience. However, to work a job while studying at university is today becoming an enormous problem not only for Australian government but also for international students. An illustration for this point can be seen in the fact that a number of overseas students work part-time jobs illegally and this has a...
